Look at the most basic computing definition of a buffer as temporary storage, RAM falls into this category.

buffer memory is a memory where a data is stored in a qeue for a temporary time. For example, when ther r 3 jobs for printer. then printer can do just one of them. then remaing two jobs will be placed in buffer. after completing first job it will take action on the second job. while RAM stand for random access memory. n current data or programs that r used r placed in ram. its volatile memory its means that its contents r lost when computer power is turned off. it does not have any link wid buffer or does not take any action like buffer.

It's not necessarily a queue, it's just a block of memory.
