| Problem with the GForce 5200 card I suppose it's the video cards fault. Because when I move the mouse on the screen while playing the game (in particular Sid Meyer's Pirates and Guild Wars) the sound start to tremble and the speed of the mouse movements slows down. My system information is as follows: System Host Name : ANTON-GI2V56W2I User : Anton Domain : ANTON-GI2V56W2I Processor Model : Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.00GHz Speed : 3.01GHz Performance Rating : PR3999 (estimated) SMT Support : 2 Unit(s) Type : Standard L2 On-board Cache : 512kB ECC Synchronous ATC (8-way sectored, 64 byte line size) Mainboard Bus(es) : ISA AGP PCI IMB USB FireWire/1394 i2c/SMBus MP Support : 1 CPU(s) MP APIC : Yes System BIOS : American Megatrends Inc. 080009 System : To Be Filled By O.E.M. I really want my computer to function correctly again. Thanx in advance kzanton |

| Re: Problem with the GForce 5200 card if the 5200 grapics card could have come into conflict with your motherboard due to the backaward compatability of a pci to agp bridge (and their is no agp expansion slot on the motherboard IF IT IS A PCI CARD YOU ARE USING and you get a blue screen wobbly graphic display check this by moving a page from side to side if it is wavy then your graphics is not up to the job. Check the bandwith speed compatability of your memory modules ddr you should be using a PC3200/400mhz 2x512 dual channel.for stability dont mix speed rates. If your m/board supports sata raid then I suggest that you upgrade your hardrive to a ST3300831AS Seagate 300gb @72k/rpm with an 8mb cache and use one of the other hd as a backup and probably upgrade the graphics card as your system appears to be slowing down by some form of incompatability or you can try and upgrade your graphics driver. |
