windows installer

My windows installer window automatically opens each time the computer is booted up. The task manager must be opened and all 3 window installers that are running must be ended. This began occuring when my HP PSC 1210v all in one printer was trying to be installed. I have checked my system and the printer is not installed, problem on another thread, on any users desktop so why does the windows installer automatically run on only one users desk top. Both users are set up as administrators.

I had a similar problem with photo gallery here is how I fixed the problem:

goto http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 and download the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility select the program that is giving you the problem and click remove.
