| Desktop dies after it restarts When I restart my computer it begins to reboot, I see the windows logo and then the screen goes blank. The disc drives won't open and it won't respond, but the computer is on. I tried to start it in safe mode or go back to the last working time, but nothing has worked so far. |

| Re: Desktop dies after it restarts I assume you're using windows xp with default configuration ....
Can you have the task manager by pressing ctrl alt del .. ? If yes , try end tasking explorer.exe and then starting a new task explorer.exe. |
