what 2 do 2 recover the files that have been replaced in windows xp
 
when i eas installing anew software my pc warned me that some files of windows xp have been replaced by unknown files.so.i need help 2 overcome dis problem!!!!!!!!!!

Place your Windows XP CD in your CD-Rom drive. Follow these steps:

Start >> Run >> (type) cmd then hit enter >>

The Window's command prompt will appear. In the window, type the following command:

sfc /scannow

This command will tell Windows to search for any relevant changes to its system files by checking your current files with the original version on the CD. When the operation is complete, you will have uncorrupted original system files. Because of this, you should then reboot and run Windows Update to update any "old" system files that were copied from the CD.
