Sybase SQL Anywhere versus Microsoft Access

Can anyone on this forum elaborate on comparisons of performance and functionality between SQL Anywhere and Access?

As far as I know, It helps to clean up the database a little.. It limits the number of qry's by using VBA code instead. Which in turn may speed up the process a little.
