Programmer
 

We are a fast growing company based in Toronto, Canada seeking to add a programmer to our staff. The successful candidate will work under the lead programmer in building new and maintaining existing internal and customer applications. Candidate must possess the desire to learn our framework, work well with others, have good communication skills and understand customer service.

Skills required include:

Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP, PEAR/PHPLib, (X)HTML/CSS, SOAP/XML-RPC, Javascript, a pragmatic approach to web-based development and best-practices.

Other skills that would be helpful are:
PERL, Java, Ruby, Information Architecture and Database Design, OOP, familiarity with frameworks such as Struts, WebObjects, or Ruby on Rails; Graphic, UI, and Web Design; Flash, Flash Remoting, and Actionscript; or MS technologies such as .NET and Windows Server 2003
