There are alternatives, though. One recommended by the AIDA32 team is EVEREST Home Edition. Another well-known one is SiSoft Sandra. Either of these will provide a great deal of system information. |

| Re: Motherboard identification how do i figure out who made this mobo/what it is? it is a socket 423 with a covered north bridge and a VIA VT8233 southbridge. there are no markings , brands etc.?? any ideas?? thank you prynas |

| Re: Motherboard identification i failed to mention that i have no chip so i can't look at the post( don't know if it's worth buying a chip for) it does have phoenix bios , 3 ddr slots , onboard audio(realtek) SST/MPF Tt (is that a high point controller? that's all i know any info greatly appreciated prynas) |
