icons don't appear on Mozilla firefox

Hello, I started using Firefox few months ago.I'm generally satisfied but there are some bugs that I don't know how to deal with.I have a yahoo mail account and I've noticed that smilies and other functions that appear on IE are missing from Firefox. I tried modify interface from yahoo menu but nothing happened.Does anyone know what should I do? :?:

You'll probably need a Firefox Extension. Here is an example of a Firefox Extension, which enables Color and Graphics for Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail and MyWay composition in Firefox. Although, you can browse the extension list to find the right one for you.
