Senior Interactive Developer, New York, NY (1 F/T and 1 Contract)
 

My client specializes in the development of inventive 1-to-1 marketing and loyalty programs in the direct and interactive channels. We provide these services to a number of blue chip brands including: BMW, Verizon SuperPages, Old Navy, Beech-Nut, Citibank, Edward Jones, NetJets, Kao Brands (Jergens, John Frieda, Biore, Curel, Ban).

The Senior Interactive Developer will be responsible for internet site and application development, including updates and maintenance to existing client sites.

Required Technical Skill
5+ years experience as a developer with expert fluency in the following:
• HTML and XHTML
• CSS
• ASP (Active Server Pages)
• VBScript
• ASP.NET
• C#
• JavaScript
• Flash / ActionScript 2.0
• Asset optimization using Photoshop or other software packages
• SQL
• XML

We also require:
• Understanding of Object Orient Programming concepts and design
• Knowledge of Microsoft .NET Framework
• Knowledge of email and website development programming best practices
• Knowledge of database modeling, querying, store procedures and administration for leading database software including Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
• Knowledge of web server administration
• Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio
• Knowledge of Macromedia Development Suite

The ideal candidate will also have experience with or knowledge of the following:
• PHP
• Java
• JSP
• Perl
• ColdFusion
• ADO
• ADO.NET
• Struts framework, JSF, tiles
• Microsoft Content Management Server

Required Personal Qualifications
• Impeccable work ethics and professionalism are a must
• Superior client skills, and ability to work effectively with remote client technical teams
• Ability to work under tights deadlines and reliably deliver work of the highest standards on time
• Must be proactive and well organized in order to juggle the needs of multiple clients, and be self-sufficient / self-motivated
• Ability to manage freelance developers when appropriate
• Superior communication skills and experience working directly with a multidisciplinary team
