webhancer problems (hijack this log included)
 

HI all.

Thanks for everyone's help so far. I still have this problem. I don't want to reinstall the program, just to uninstall it. Is there a way to manually remove it, with the posted hijack this log, and deleteing files in safe mode.

I have tried removing it from the Add/Remove but it's not listed there in any form. I have found the files on my computer, so I know they are there. The process isn't even running that I can tell when I ctrl, atl & del.


Hope someone can help. This is the only problem left.

Please start by doing the following.

Download the Free trial version of Spysweeper

http://www.webroot.com/consumer/pro...&rc=4129&ac=tsg

Update the defintions and run it, let it remove whatever it finds.

Then download ewido

www.ewido.net - Install. Update. Scan. Remove anything it finds.

Then download CCleaner

Run it and let it clean.
