Principal Software Engineer

Candidate will be able to architect, design, and develop software solutions for precision bench top laboratory automation and liquid handling instrument (microfluidics) systems targeted at the biopharmaceutical market. This includes but is not limited to small team leadership, generation of software architectures and designs, software development, command and control systems, and HW-SW integration. Duties will include leading a software project team, creation of software specifications,architectures and designs, and development of software. Candidate will work within a cross-functional product development team through all steps of the PACE development process to produce high quality software and robust products that fully meet customer requirements.



Ideal candidate will have five years experience:

Technical and small team leadership.

Current Microsoft Windows technology and architecture. Development of commercial automation products following a product development.



Ideal candidate will have twelve years experience in:

C

C++

MFC

.NET

Microsoft Windows (incl. XP, 2000, and NT)

Microsoft Visual Studio



Must have at least a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science.
