LOST my RESTORE DISK and want factory settings
 

Hi,

I have had my Compaq Presario 5320us Windows XP computer for about five years now, and since I purchased it it has built up many problems (mostly malware). I NOW use Spybot S&D, and Ad-Aware SE, and they both helped considerably, but there are still too many occasions to "End Process" for any real comfort. I REALLY REALLY want to restore this computer to factory settings, but before I knew about computers, I lost my system restore disk! I'm fluent with computers now, but I didn't realize the worth of that disk. Is there anything I can do, such as buying another restore disk, or download something that has the software for my computer? I am willing (and want) to delete everything on the computer and make it BRAND NEW.

P.S. I don't want to use spyware removers and such, I just want my computer like new =(

Your best bet is to contact Compaq and ask them about a replacement CD.
