Yet Another svchost.exe Error :(
 

I looked around the forums at some length incase this has already been addressed, but I didn't see anything that was similar enough, so here's my problem.

For background, I've never had anything like this happen before. I'm still using dial-up (yea, I know), so I went to sleep last night still connected to the internet. I get up this morning and I have the Generic Host Process Error. Clicking the "Don't Send" or whatever disrupts my internet connection, and I'm forced to restart the computer to get it to work again. I had no previous problems like this, and it just apparently happened in the middle of the night at some point. I've scanned for viruses and found nothing. Below is some info for ya:

Also, I don't have a printer installed, and I haven't installed or added any new hardware in the past 4 months or so. I also cleaned up my registry this morning with Windows XP Manager (really shooting blanks here). Thanks for any help you can provide as it is greatly appreciated!

I'm also going to reinstall my drivers for my video. I saw a post where it helped someone, and mine need updated anyway.

Well, I ended up being on my own figuring it out, but for anyone who has a similar problem and runs across this post, the problem was fixed by running my firewall 24/7 (even though I'm on dial-up), so it must have been some malicious program trying to connect to my computer. McAfee AntiSpyware hasn't found it, nor has F-Prot Antivirus with newest virus definitions, so I never suspected it until the firewall definitively eliminated the problem.
