go here and go through the errors:
XHMTL errors

The rollover is odd it is not the same height as the navbar or equal distance from the top and bottom so it looks weird. Also page counters arent really very professional.

There's a HUGE drop from the top/banner down to the first article. I don't know if that's what's making the home page seem so long but there's quite a bit of scrolling to do there.

I'm not understanding the theme of the site. Are we trying to get visitors to the Philippines or is it just about the volcano? I'm not sure!

I would relocate the Google Adwords. Place them either on the side or perhaps between articles. Having them at the very top makes the site (to me) appear as though making money is the point of your site.

Hi Design looks good!

Nice use of Div tags instead of Tables

To pick up on a previous post - Counters are a little dated - you will be able to get alot more detailed info from the servers log files.

The About Page has a small problem with CSS - The right hand nav is over lapping main maylayout.

On a personal preferance I would remove the roll-over underline when on heading tags.

I tested with firefox - all seems good!!

Regards.
