Can't change desktop/180Solutions Adware
 

I was tasked with the assignment of cleaning out all of the adware and viruses off of my cousin's computer, and I was doing pretty well until I got down to 1 infected file left when running Norton 2005. The file in question is C:\Windows\Downlad Program Files\SAIX.dll, which Norton identifies as Adware.180Solutions. The problem is, that file doesn't appear in that folder, and I have all hidden files shown. Windows Defender couldn't pick up anything either. Now I don't know if this is what's causing my the problems or not, but the background on this PC is grey and I cannot change it. When I go to the desktop properties window, the area where I normally can change desktop images is completely grayed-out and disabled. I've seen this problem before, and the only thing that fixed it was a complete reformat. Again, I'm not sure if this is related to the 180Solutions adware, but I can't find anything else that it could be. I tried going through the initial steps of this forum where I run HiJackThis and look for any of the common programs to delete and fixes to run, but I couldn't find the 180Solutions on there. Can someone help me out? Does the HiJackThis log show any other viruses or spyware that I'm missing? Thanks in advance for any help!

oh i forgot one thing the task manager have been disabled by these problems windows claims that tack manager was disabled by the admin but i havnt can someone tell me whats going on.
