hard drive space?
 
how do you check the remaining hard drive space in redhat linux 9? also, how do you enter a "task manager" kind of application?

There should be some sort of application in the "utilities" or something like that....

I usually open up the terminal, and then type "ps -aux" to list the currently running processes, and then "kill x" where x is the process number to quit. Again, there's probably some application in the system utilities that will do that. Google is your friend.

you can right click on the home folder and see how much free space you have.

df -H shows parition space
