I have a dell inspiron 1000, whih has just died on me, it will not boot up even in safe mode, it displays error codes, can anyone help...

Telling us the error codes would be useful. Also, does the computer POST (the series of beeps at startup, try to tell us the pattern to the beeps too).

Also, there is no need for the colour or italics.

Yeah telling us what exact error codes your getting would be quite helpful.
