Quick Launch Toolbar

My computer is windows xp, and on the quick launch toolbar on my wife side thr show-desktop icon has disappeared. Please can you tell me how to retrieve it.

Click on the taskbar beside the clock and sound tray in the screen then it will appear a menu you will find toolbar then choose quick launch:)
