My suggestion would be to make the home page display the ads according to categories. Right now the side panel display all different types of news.

The good thing about google news and most newspapers is you can select whether to view just the technology news or the business news.

Your sit is very good looking but a it is a bit too wide. If you just took away a bit of the margin on the left and a bit of the margin in the middle of the page I think it would fit on a 800*600 screen. It is worth a try.

I made some changes: if you click Travel - you see the travel news sites (pages) AND travel headlines, and so on.

NEW: 'Just for fun' links on the bottom of the page.

font size is a little bit too small in my view. but over all is good.

I changed the design - made it clear, add white space, more headline options, ...

That looks great. I tell you what would make it look top dog though:

Some rounded corner on the search and create a link boxes.

One more thing I have just noticed in your content:

On the contact us page in the "send us a picture" section is it really worth asking people to resize the picture and put it into the right format? It will probably just put them off sending it to you at all.

BTW... You should also put some rounded corners on the "is it interesting" and "select a topic" boxes on the all headlines page.


The above stuff is very picky but you have such a great site and for the sake of such little things that will make it more flashy you should do it.

On second thoughts.... after looking at your source I can see that the widths of these are specified in a percentage. That does make it a bit harder, but not impossible. It is worth a quick try though.
