Random errors on new comp
 

I was refferenced to this website originally by Google.

For about 3 weeks now, i've been restarting my computer and a Bridge.dll file has been coming up as missing. Also another program "netsvcs.exe" is also appearently on my computer as well. it opened up various windows that i can't remember it's name and would annoy me alot. I was able to deactivate it from start up when i started on my computer but i'd like it gone.

Also various other programs time out or cut out and fail, which shuts them down. They come up with errors or something and just stop.

This computer was custom built by myself and other college friends of mine, The parts are brand new, so im not sure if that will complicate things or not.

When i ran a search this was the first site i came to and it had a theard about a bridge.dll file. It said something about a program called HijackThis. I used that one and was able to copy the log so i could show you here.

I'm running on a Window's XP profesisonal. i hope you can help me fix any of these errors that come up from this hijackthis software. Any help is very appreciated and will be implemented right away. Thank you again for your help you are able to give.

Important: Create a folder on the C: drive called C:\HJT.
You can do this by going to My Computer (Windows key+e) then double click on C: then right click and select New then Folder and name it HJT.
Unzip HijackThis into this folder. When you run HijackThis from this folder and have it "Fixed checked" it will create a backup file of modifications to use if restore is necessary.

You have a worm or two so start with the free online virus scans in my signature ,and then run these programs if you all ready haven't.

Might I suggest Ad-Aware and Spybot

Download the latest version of Ad-Aware at ADAWARE

Download SPYBOT

And after that, please do the following:


Please Download CWShredder from HERE and run the Program in safe mode . Press the "Fix Button" Let it fix all variants. Next, Close the program and all windows and IE windows and run hijackthis and Post a Fresh log.

Reboot to SAFE mode to run swshredder

Have Hijack This fix the following by placing a check in the appropriate boxes and selecting fix checked. Make sure all browser and all Windows Explorer windows are closed before fixing.

Not sure what you want for you start page and search page ,if its Yahoo for start page and goolgle for search then fix theses also.
