| Re: prosearching.com taking over my internet Reboot into safe mode following the instructions here & Unzip HJT into it's own permanent folder before doing anything in order for it to create backups. (Not a temporary folder or directly on the desktop & not directly on your hard drive). Close all (browser) windows & rescan with hijackthis. When the scan is finished place a check in the box to the left of the following entries & click 'fix checked' : R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://prosearching.com/searchbar.html R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://prosearching.com/searchbar.html R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://prosearching.com/searchbar.html R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cus...://my.yahoo.com R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://prosearching.com/searchbar.html R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://prosearching.com/searchbar.html R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://prosearching.com/searchbar.html R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchURL,(Default) = http://red.clientapps.yahoo.com/cus...//www.yahoo.com O2 - BHO: (no name) - {4BCF322B-9621-4e90-9678-F1424EB7584E} - C:\WINDOWS\udpmod.dll O2 - BHO: (no name) - {AA555D38-BAA4-009A-694B-82B832641D72} - C:\PROGRA~1\GLUESA~1\lies way.dll O3 - Toolbar: dupewindowlist - {938D56A8-4B2D-485F-CD71-1CC8715B1AD9} - C:\PROGRA~1\GLUESA~1\lies way.dll O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WhenUSave] C:\PROGRA~1\Save\Save.exe O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [wcmdmgr] C:\WINDOWS\wt\updater\wcmdmgrl.exe -launch O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Dalethird] C:\PROGRA~1\SIZEDA~1\Fivetickeggs.exe Navigate to & delete the following: C:\PROGRA~1\GLUESA~1< folder C:\PROGRA~1\Save< folder C:\WINDOWS\wt< folder C:\PROGRA~1\SIZEDA~1< folder Reboot normally after doing the above then post a fresh log plz. |
