Symantec Proxy Error
 

I think my computer's been hijacked. I was doing a Google search the other day and must have clicked on the wrong link. Now every hour or so, my computer goes crazy and starts attempting to send out emails. Symantec prevents them from being sent and displays a box that says "Symantec Proxy Error" at the top.

Nothing else seems to be wrong with my computer. But, of course, this is a huge productivity issue for me.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to address this issue?

My home computer is in the same fix. Has anyone given you a clue what to do with this mess?
