Senior Level Flash Developer
 

We have a direct hire (full-time, salaried position) opportunity available with our client in the Teaneck, NJ area. We are looking for a Flash Developer. After reviewing your resume, I feel you may be an excellent fit for our client's needs. Please see the job description below.

The Flash Developer will be responsible for writing game scripts, designing documents and developing prototypes. You will also play a key, collaborative role in the development of treatments of game design and concepts. The Flash Developer will implement a Flash component framework for interactive games, develop and maintain code developed in Flash/ActionScript and Java, troubleshoot and ensure timely and effective resolution of any issues with the project.
Desired Qualifications:

• BA in Graphic Design or equivalent educational background
• A diverse, polished portfolio is required
• 2-5 years experience in graphic design
• 1-3 years experience with multimedia design
• A demonstrated understanding of multimedia and web integration issues is a must
• Required skills include Flash MX Professional, Macromedia Flash, Fireworks, Dreamweaver, ImageReady, Illustrator, Action Script 2.0, PhotoShop, PHP, HTML and XML
• Experience with animation in Flash is a major plus
• Must pass small Flash coding test to get hired
