Yes, very good advice. Always good to check with FTC and such to make sure that company is good too.

if you're doing a one-on-one partnership or joint venture, always do your due diligence in ensuring your partner has a stellar reputation. If your partner is a scammer or someone who doesn't know what he's doing, you will get painted with the same brush.

I agree, I think strategic alliance is much better.
