Also I think eMetrix.com has been involved in this scam.

I HAVE SENT MY COMPLAINT TO THE INTERNET CRIME COMPLAINT CENTER ( www.ic3.gov ) AND SUGGEST YOU AND EVERY ONE ELSE TO MAKE THE SAME. DO NOT LEAVE THEM UNPUNISHED!!! YOU OWN IT TO YOURSELF!!!

This is my story:

I have been victimized by a scammer named "Connelly"<ceo@fjomp.com> on the 5th May 2007, and I've lost $404, on fully unreliable appraisals by www.securenamesale.com
The scammer sent to me emails telling me that he was interesting to buy my domain names. He was in a hurry and he wanted appraisals for the domain names he would buy and only from certain appraisers among them was www.securenamesale.com I think they work with, they do not make reliable appraisals and all other services they offer are deceitful in order to continue steal money from their victims.
Of course he didn't buy any domain.
I post here all the emails I have exchange with the scamer "Connelly" <ceo@fjomp.com> , securenamesale.com and eMetrix.com:

Do you sell the name only without web site? I'm interested in the name so
web site is not so important.
Do you have an appraisal certificates for your domain names? As fas I know
it's a common practice to show appraisal of domain name (even without
traffic and web site) before doing business.
Without appraisal I risk to overpay. In other words I won't be able to make
a profit on reselling this name. It's very important for you and me to know
the current market value of your domains.
Of course, we must be sure that you are engaging an appraisal company with
REAL manual service. I heard many appraisal companies often made inaccurate
auto-generated appraisals. I will only accept appraisals from independent

because it's the best way to protect an investment.
I heard many appraisal companies often made inaccurate appraisals. So I
cannot accept appraisal from each and every site. I will only accept
appraisals from independent appraisal companies I know and trust.
Reading responses from experienced sellers I was impressed by one reply:
"Many Internet users are not smart enough and popular domain brokers are
using this fact to make money. They offer them cheap appraisal services. But
if their customers would have something in their heads they'd understand
experts could not make a professional research for $15-$20. These appraisals
are made by machines. Easy money for such appraisers as

auto-generated appraisals. In my eyes, all services under $60-$65 are not
manual and the results are generated by special scripts. I don't trust

The same is true for GoDaddy and SEDO. Their services are not manual. They
are just collecting money using their well-known names.

DomainSystems.com, GreatDomains.com and DomainMart.com.
I paid for the second appraisal myself. Hope you understand me because it's
not wise to rely on opinion of one appraiser only.
Now I've got the results. My results ($13,000-$15,000) are close to the
results from your appraiser. To be honest I expected a lower estimation. So I see from
different independent sources including yours that your name has a good
potential I made a lot of research about how to sell/buy a domain and I founded an ICANN rule that prohibits any domain reselling before two months from registration. But I want o make money on reselling within one month.
So I offer you the following:
I set the starting price based on our appraisals. Then I find a buyer and
arrange the transaction for 15%. I wrote about my reselling intentions in
first emails.
Moreover, also don't claim exclusive rights to sell your domain. You can try
to sell your domains too.
I've already bought opt-in lists from

I invested about $250 in these lists. Unfortunately, I cannot list your
names with brokers and auctions because I'm not the owner. Listing on

start with. If your list your names there please don't forget to send your

I searched in google and I found many victims (even six months ago!) and they write that reported securenamesale's activity to you (eMetrix).
24 hours after payment I asked from securenamesale.com do not charge me, but it refused.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY YOU (eMetrix.com) CONTINUE TO COLABORATE WITH securenamesale.com SINCE YOU KNOW THEIR ACTIVITIES...?
It is not wise to connect your name with scammers...In google enter keywords (emetrix, securenamesale). See bellow:

On the 12th May 2007 I sent you the below email asking for a refund to my account after being made aware of an internet scam that has been taking place.
As my email has not been responded to I am intending to file an official complaint with The Internet Crime Complaint Center (WWW.ic3.gov) detailing them of your possible involvement in this scam and explaining how I have been defrauded out of a considerable amount of money. I will also encourage any user who has been victimized by securenamesale.com and listed on any forum I know -and believe me I know many of them- to do the same.
Naturally should this issue be resolved to my satisfaction immediately I will reconsider this decision, however if I do not hear from you in due course I will go ahead with my complaint, -first to digitalRiver.com and after- to IC3.
Please, do not ignore me for a second time, it is not nice. I am not waiting to be rich with 404$. Are you?
