dual boot problem
 
i dual boot my windows machine to run ubuntu as well but how do i remove ubuntu without removing my windows partition. i tried deleting the partition in windows but i got a grub loader error and my PC would not boot windows

any help

run from windows restore console 'fixmbr'

It would also be wise to back up any important stuff onto cd incase it all goes tits up.

You can rewrite mbr with fixmbr with no doubt.

yes, delete the linux partition and then using your XP CD's recovery console (hit R around the bit with the EULA) type fixmbr and it will reinstall the xp bootloader over GRUB.
