Outlook Express - problem leaving messages on server
 

Hi to all from a first poster :-)

I have an odd problem with Outlook Express 6, running on a newly-setup XPProSP2 laptop.

When I access mail from this machine, it won't leave the messages on the server, even though I've selected the option in the Advanced section of the account properties.

The account has 5 aliases. When I first set up the laptop, I selected the 'leave messages' option on all 6 accounts, but the first time I used Outlook Express I got multiple copies of all emails, so I turned off the option on all but the main account, which stopped the multiple emails but maybe has affected the 'leave messages on server' option.

Suggestions would be welcome :-)
