PeopleSoft Admin/Oracle DBA
 

This is a full-time (permanent) position with a growing Tampa company. The primary focus is in PeopleSoft Administration. You will be responsible for implementing, upgrading and maintaining HR, Benefits Administration and Payroll modules running on a Unix/Oracle platform. Database Administration talents including installing, upgrading, security, patching and tuning will be heavily utilized in support of this position. This position will require an individual who can work both individually and within a group and will be responsible for attending status, project initiation and planning meetings. This position reports to the Manager of Database Administration.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business, or related discipline.
4-7 years Oracle Database and PeopleSoft Administration experience.
Prior experience with supporting PeopleSoft applications and PIA (PeopleSoft Internet Architecture) in a single and multi-tiered environment on IBM AIX and Windows platforms.
Experience with Oracle 9i and 10g databases and upgrading from 9i to future releases.
Prior experience migrating PeopleSoft projects and applying application and PeopleTools patches and upgrades utilizing Change Assistant.
Must have hands-on database experience with monitoring, tuning, backups utilizing RMAN, database refreshes, disaster recovery and capacity planning.
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Experience with Oracle Financials and Data Warehousing is a plus.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
