New look for the index page

The changes were slight, but just curious if any of you noticed some changes I made to the homepage. I adjusted the width of the columns so that the time/date display is easier to read. Also, I changed all of the descriptions for the different boards.

I'm still debating whether I want to keep the descriptions up there at all.

sorry, didnt much notice the changes, but i am a newbie here so....

think the descriptions r good, but the site could use some condensing - maybe use popups 4 the descripts? :)
