Writing Start up scripts
 

Hi I am fairly new to the IT industry and need help writing a start-up script for an application server (OC4J). It does not matter in what language is the script written (Perl,Korn..) Or if some1 can atleast get me a headstart as to how do I go about writing it. Any help will be appreciated.
