| Jr./Sr. Software Engineer Hi Gang, It's your friendly neighborhood recruiter again. The company info that I'm providing is mine. Obviously, my client would like to remain confidential. This is a brief description of what I'm looking for: This company is in a small expansion phase and is looking for one Jr. and one Sr. Level Software Engineer with experience in network security-related products. SOME TYPE OF SECURITY BACKGROUND IS A MUST! Strictly Embedded engineers probably won't make the cut. You will be working on the development of software that will provide security solutions that help businesses and users protect their systems and intellectual property from compromise. Intrusion prevention. You must have a strong grasp of network programming and communication protocols. It would help if you had a knowledge of how vulnerabilities arise in software and the general approaches used to exploit them. You must have major chops in C/C++, Win32 technologies, common network protocols like (TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP, etc.), network security architecture, and solid communication skills. Some pluses are: Agile, Assembly and debuggers like Windbg. Again, this is in Orange County, almost at the San Diego County border. If you or anyone you know is interested please contact me. Thanks, Tom |
