Our old main coder continues to show up when and if he feels like it, which is becoming a problem, as I've had to do all of the coding myself, and severely reduces the progress we make. Also, he knew more about CSS and advanced HTML than I did, which makes it hard to do site design on pages. If you know anything about Kingdom of Loathing, you probably know that the dev team works on the game as a full time job. We draw alot of our playerbase from KoL, and their donation system is both expected and probably will be welcomed in our game (you donate 10 dollars to the game for server costs, you get an in-game item, you trade it for monthly items/other stuff). We are currently on fairly cheap servers which cover our needs, but once we get ready to move to beta, we'll be putting in a donation system to help raise funds to cover the cost of better servers. If you know php, JS, html/CSS, and are willing to devote your time to this game, then please contact me (I'll give out the address to anyone who replies seriously, but it's probably not all that hard to find out) about it. More UI widgets is certainly needed. Talk to me, suggest a feature or widget you'd like to work on and state your bid for that feature.


Some ideas for what could be added:

* tabbed pane widget
* resizable container/pane widgets
* multiline text-input widget
* rich text-editor/input widget
* dropdown-box widget
* other widgets?
* some more examples, perhaps

A real time charting widget is also needed. I'm thinking histogram and line chart. No plugin should be necessary on the browser end; use html canvas and/or svg.

They brought the idea to life and all was well. We are now 6 months old (live site), the site is doing well and growing, the code is pretty good with few problems. We now have over 100 active players per day and paid singup/upgraded players are increasing. However approx 3 1/3 months ago the coder began to act strange and aloof. I have come to the conclusion that if I do not do something the game will stagnate and lost momentum. If anyone wishes to take a look at the game and investigate the opportunity further or discuss more intricate details I would be happy to provide further information.

As for what is required. It is a simple text/graphics breeding/genetics virtual animal game that is working, running and making money already despite its newness to the market/genre and could be a nice sideline/extra income for not a great deal of work opportunity for someone who is adept at php coding.
