Just a quick note that I just finished installing a wireless keyboard and mouse, and everything works great right out of the box :) :) All I had to do was turn off my computer, unplug my old monster of keybaord + mouse, plug in a Logitech gadget (some technical term huh?) into a usb port, and turn my computer back on. This is the easiest hardware installation I have ever encountered. I don't mean this to be an advertisement for Logitech, but you have to given them a lot of credit for making their stuff so easy for non-technical people to install.

I would like to have a Mac pro as my home computer, but I would also like to be able to run Visual Studio and the IIS web server on it. I hear this is not possible in the Mac OS environment? is it possible to run IIS and visual studio(or a mac alternative) on a windows partition and still be able to upload files to it from my Mac partition. Or how feasible would it be to buy a cheaper computer running windows and install IIS on it and have my MAC connect to it?

Hi guys;
I have a little situation concerning a new site that I am trying to run. I recently purchassed through ebay a "one time payment lifetime hosting plan". The name of the hosting site is buddyservers.net . After paying them with paypal, I received an email from them as follow :

Dear Mavinga,

+===================================+
| New Account Info |
+===================================+
| Domain: congotube.com
| Your cPanel URL: http://buddyservers.net
| Ip: 216.45.48.2 (n)
| HasCgi: y
| UserName: George
| PassWord: Bush
| CpanelMod: x3
| HomeRoot: /home
| Quota: UNLIIMITED LIFETIME
| NameServer1: ns1.buddyservers.net
| NameServer2: ns2.buddyservers.net
| NameServer3:
| NameServer4:
| Contact Email: mavingab@hotmail.com
| Package: Ultimate Plan
| Feature List: Unlimited Lifetime Plan
| Language: english

Please note that I changed here the username and password to George and Bush. So I went to goddady.com to ponit my domaine name to the buddyservers nameservers, which I did. But when I tried to log into cpanel using the above infos so I can operate settings on my new site. the attempt login fails, again and again. I contacted the owners off buddyservers about the problem, and here is what they answerd me:

"FTP accounts are setup internally within your cPanel. Its all a third party system so all accounts you open within cPanels are opened and downloaded separately, just like you open an email account within cPanels... you must create your own password and userid.

I hope this addressed all your questions.

Cordially,

Hannah
eBiz Cafe manager "

Since then I tried to contact them tens of time with no answer. Can anybody at Daniweb help me with this issue ( either technically or regarding my new host) ? Something like a step-by-step process to have my site set with the available infos from the host . Thanks a lot for any help.
I had X = 1 (then) display (then) if x< 100 a sub routine X = X + 2 (then) return to main routine before display. The teacher said the display had to be in the main routine after the exit for the sub routine. I say this would only display 99.
If this is too hard to follow I will attach the flow chart next time, please explain!!

I am getting some problem knowing how to read data, I mean wht exactly it do and wht functions it process or programming it is working on this thing. Well let me explain in simple words, it is called a taxi dispatcher n it is widely used in australian taxis. Its function is to plot d area, show incoming jobs, communicating with d base, loggin in n out n bla bla bla wht u can expect in a taxi. Well it is a bit like monitor thing with keypad on it from 0-9 n E,C,* . It got a display portion just like a calculator LCD. It is connected with its base via 15 pin D sub things. Few of the taxi drivers know tht by disconnecting a couple of wires, this dispatcher get disconnected from taxi meter and taxi GPS base. Well, because it is an electronic thing, it is programmed. I was just wondering if I could download its program and then update & upload with some few more things in it, but the problem is I dont know how to read data from this hardware. I mean if theortically we define it, connecting its 15 pin D sub pin to the computer to read data, then make changes in it, and upload it again. Take this any hardware u found in ur storeroom but u havent got the driver for it. Then u search for it, u didnt got any driver on the net as well. Then u thought to make a new one, but I am not the hardware kid, I dont know where to start from here. I know I am not good in practically viewing that, so thats why I am here to ask for help.

Please let me know any tips u got.

thank you all
