Hello,

This is my first post, so sorry if it is in the wrong section.

I have Windows Vista and using WMP 11. I like it, and I like the way it organises my bands and albums. I am in the process of loading all my music on.
I have a problem though, and it might seem trivial but it's doing my head in because I like to have my music organised.

I have AcDc's discography, but when WMP puts it into the library, it puts it all in one big folder, instead of listing it album by album like the other bands. It is all organised in "Music" like the other bands, so I cant see a reason for it doing so.

Below is a screenshot incase my description is not good enouph.:

http://img512.imageshack.us/my.php?image=acdcrq6.jpg

As you can see, the "Unknown" is AcDc, and I want it Organised like the other two. Any suggestions would be great, thanks.

I have a laptop running Vista Business 64bit Edition (SP1) with Office 2003 SP3 installed (version number 11.8169.8172). It encounters severe slow downs or goes unresponsive for 30-60 seconds at a time when first opening documents on a network share with Word or Excel, or when running Outlook using word as the editor and creating new emails/replying. This also happens when saving documents after the machine has been idle for a short time. This does not happen when opening documents from the local disk. The user has the same network permissions as they did when using 32bit XP Pro machines running Office 2003 which had no problems doing the same operations. The laptop sits in a docking station, but is not set to enter sleep mode. I have reinstalled both Office and Vista on separate occasions but this doesn’t seem to have changed anything.

This is driving me nuts as I can’t find anything specific to the problem on google (unless I'm missing something obvious), or anything relevant beyond faulting application logs when word hangs completely in the event log. If any further information/logs/etc is required please let me know. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Okay guys/gals, I'm hopeful someone can help me here.

Here's my situation:
I have a few custom fill in forms I've created for Outlook. And I want all of my users to be able to access them. This isn't the problem. The problem is ease of use. Our users aren't exaclty smart enough (or maybe lazy is a better description) to use the Outlook | New drop down menu and select Choose Form. I know they will never utilize these forms if they have to access them this way. So I want to create a custom "Choose Forms" Button on their toolbar. This is done locally on my machine. My question is, how do I push that out to every user in our firm without overwriting their current toolbar settings.

To be a little clearer, I've discovered I can navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook and simply copy out the outcmd.dat file to each PC from my PC as I've made the customizations locally on my PC. This will basically copy my toolbar settings to every user. But this will erase any current cusomizations users currently have. If worse comes to worse, I will write a batch file that will rename their current outcmd.dat to outcmd.bak and then copy in the customized outcmd.dat. Then deal with complaints on a per user basis. but life would be much easier if I could figure out how to push a custom button to append to users current toolbar settings.

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

I'm new to using queries in Access and am stuck on trying to run a query from a table.

I have thousands of records with fields such as customer name, Company Name, Company Country and Balance. What I want to do is run the query to count the number of Companies within a country. As there are thousands of records one company may be in the table up to a couple hundred times. I use the count feature to count company, group by country and sum balance, as I want to know what the total balance is by country also.

The query is giving me the total number of records by country instead of companies. The balance sum seems fine.

Can anyone help.

Cheers
It is the junk email filter on a secondary inbox that refuses to work. I have the administrator inbox secondary to my inbox in outlook under my profile. The filter works perfectly on my inbox, but not on the admin inbox. It's different because it's not as if it just stopped working (like so many others report), it has never worked on this secondary inbox.
More info
I've gone through every setting I can think of.

I think website hobbies will the right one. They never need to spend too much time in
learning complex HTML code, or purchase expensive tools like Adobe Dreamweaver or other web design tools. After all, they just take creating website as interest.

As a common office tool, PowerPoint is more popular and easier for people to use, no matter which aspects you compare. Maybe you will feel a little incredulous, but I believe, you can make it done just after some attempts.

In summary, the benefits of creating Website form PowerPoint are:

- Save a lot of time in learning complex HTML code, Adobe Dreamweaver or
other web design tools.
- Have a lot of choice to use amazing PowerPoint templates to enrich your
Website.

Sometimes, you will ask "Is creating website with PowerPoint perfect with no fault? Is there
any deficiency?" Alright, nothing is perfect. Here are some shortcomings below:
- You can only create static Web page. All the animations will disappear.
- All multimedia files will disappear, such as music, video and Flash.

Tutorial about how to save your presentation as Web page, please

But I think this would not be a problem in this information era. By
converting your PowerPoint presentation to Flash you can easily create a full Flash-based
Website from PowerPoint.

Correspondingly, there are more benefits of creating Flash website from PowerPoint, such as:
- Flash supports the multimedia interactive objects. Animations, hyperlinks, and multimedia files originate from PowerPoint will be retained after conversion.
- Smaller file size, easier to load from Website.

Then which PowerPoint to Flash tool is the best? There are some free tools, but you can
only get a Website in a Flash player from these free tools, such as authorpoint. In compare,
for my part, some third party presentation commercial tools such as
Wondershare PPT2Flash Standardwill suit for you work whether from its
price or quality. It includes a special template (no skin template) - it is suitable for creating Website, which other free converters don't
possessed. It is an add-in of PowerPoint. You can convert it with one click.
