Aergo Solutions is a provider of management consulting and technology services, primarily to hospitals in the NJ/NY vicinity. Our services help client hospitals analyze, redefine, optimize and monitor business process workflow within the hospital revenue cycle. We have spent more than a decade developing, deploying and evolving our proprietary software suite, including major ETL capabilities (primarily in SAS and SQL Server), workflow design, management and monitoring (written in Delphi and SQL Server, integrates with hospital systems via terminal emulation and ETL), and powerful Business Intelligence tools (Delphi, SQL Server and MS Analysis Services).

We continue to grow, and seek to expand our ETL and Data Analysis capabilities.

Part of our business model and practice includes building customized, robust and high performance interfaces with the information systems in place at our clients' sites. We will typically receive massive data downloads from our clients throughout the day, and run jobs against these that perform extracts, verification, validation, analysis, reporting, archiving and transformation before loading the data into SAS and SQL Server datasets that support the workflow software and Business Intelligence tools used by our clients.

As our client base continues to grow, we are looking for bright, motivated, professional and highly productive Data Analysts with programming skills to join the team in Iselin, NJ (2 blocks from the NJ Transit Metro Park train station). In order to do well in one of these roles, you will need:
- the ability to understand data relationships
- an analytical and precise mindset
- the ability to map business requirements to a wide variety of data formats
- solid programming skills:
- you will be working in SAS
- SAS experience preferred
- if not SAS, solid experience with both procedural and 4GL programming
- a very strong orientation toward complete, provable and high quality outcomes
- the ability to work against, and meet, deadlines
- a sense of ownership and responsibility when taking on assignments
- the ability to work independently as well as collaborate on a team
- a "can do" attitude

If you understand hospital information systems and/or data, so much the better!

This could be a role for a relatively junior person, if the above items are well represented. While we will allow for learning curve, we are looking for these new folks to be productive and come up to speed quickly. Although we may hire a junior person, the ability to take on an assignment and assume responsibility for successful completion within an agreed upon time frame is a key part of success at Aergo.

You may be recently out of school, or you may have a few years experience. We are most interested in finding the right person rather than comparing candidates to a rigid candidate profile.

The company is solid, healthy and growing. This is a good opportunity for the right person.

If you or a colleague think you might be a fit, let's talk soon.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

- Jon

I am looking for three different profiles for these full-time jobs, located near Los Angeles:

Profile #1
Web developers, who breathe web technologies and are not afraid of web languages such as PHP 5, Python, Ruby…Rapid Development methodologies will be used but you must also be a person capable of following a process such as CMM and CCPM (it’s actually pretty simple!)

Profile #2
Java developers, and I mean POJO, but also Spring, Tomcat, Axis2…No J2EE though.

Profile #3
Embedded developers who can work on the development of a solid system architecture. C is your language of choice. There will be some PHP as well.

Knowledge of web services and computer networking really help.

To learn more, including all the reasons why these are great opportunities, please take a look at my blog post: http://nexus.zteo.com/2008/06/29/job-openings/
