your system seems to have a pretty big trojan presense
it may be really difficult / impossible to completly clean it off

i'm not exactly sure why you have 4 entries running for 1 antivirus program unless it does 4 diferent things

try starting up into vga mode or last good configuration
you can get to the options by hitting f8 key when it booting up before the screen with the xp logo

thermal paste just heps fill in the air gaps between the CPU and heatsink allowing more heat to come through to be cooled off

xp and 2k seem to have an odd problem with the preview
if you have a preview of things open it shows the picture or first frame of the video in the folder
