do as suggested by Xlphos check your jumper settings..were you able to boot from your dvd drive or not? if you were able to boot then i suppose it could be on your OS..your mobo comes with the disc...

do as Bob suggested, check also your device manager..for any errors in your driver..if you got an extra video cable..the cable that connects from your pc to monitor try to replace it check if it will...

what you mean by sending files to another computer? how about folder sharing it's not applicable to you?
