no the speakers are new...turns out i found a way to fix the problem...on options >speakers i found the device controller was set on default card and not my card so i changed it to my sound card and...

i dealed a lot with the two of them ..i re dl them and tryied to reinstall them ..same thing..so i simply deleted them and now i use windows media player and internet explrer 7 ...good old microsoft...

yes i actually ended up to windows media player...works fine so far

running windows media player 11 on xp service pack 2 but the sound is really badly distorted (even at EQ and SRS WOW effects turned off)..trying to update it from microsoft didnt solve any...

i did restore it this time to one week ago when all was ok, on reboot the problem is still there : seamonkey and jetaudio wont start and most of new stuff i try to install wont start installing .....

well i modified the original by adding the "none" to the value data..nothing when i click to open for example the drive c it starts to search in the drive c instead of normally opening it
