I have a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-109.. from a sony vaio machine. I replaced the motherboard and installed my own version of XP...

you can use a static or dynamic route If they can send info to say the routers serial then they route that info to the other router which connects to the internet.

The router is wireless. When the wireless is down the eth ports still work. This dropping happens on all of the computers at the same time. I upgraded the firmware two weeks ago.

Yea now it does; I think it's working now. I installed the latest firmware, I only had the firmware the router came with. I also but it higher up and got an extension for my antenna on my nic card....
