Is it actually a folder? there is a folder called system32 in your windows directory. Run msconfig from the run command box and see if you can find it in the start up tab. Can't think why it might be...

Seagate would appear to be quite good there are mixed opinions on Maxstor but I think they have improved alot in recent years....

Try this, completly remove the driver from device manager and then reboot your machine cancel any attempts by windows to install a driver. then get the latest drivers for your card and reinstall...

Ok I done a little more investigation of rsvp.exe and it appears to have something to do with netmeeting. so no worries there.
