Start up your Mac up from the System CD.
Look in the menus - there is an option there to change the Admin password.
Reboot from your Harddisk.

Done :)

Try holding the option key down during startup, which gives you a chance to select any available system disk to start up from.

Use iPhoto - you already have it in your Applications folder, and you probably still have it in your Dock, unless you removed it from there yourself.

Right click on the folder and select 'Create Archive of "Folder name"' - this will create a zip file of the folder with all contents intact in the same location...

Are you sure that's not AI instead of AL?
If it is, it's an Adobe Illustrator file.
If it really IS AL, it's an ALAW format sound file - just don't ask me what that is supposed to be ;)

You can use a dvd ripper like MacTheRipper (great name isn't it?) which you can find on versiontracker, and then burn it...

You can just plug it in, on top of the existing drive - the cables are right there waiting for it :)
Remember to set the drive to slave, using the jumpers.

If you drag and drop files over to your external drive, your Mac will copy the files, not move them.
Remember to delete them from the internal drive otherwise you won't have saved any space at all....

Channels are greyscale only - basically, they define a selection.
If you want to add colour, go back to your layers pallette and click on they layer you want to adjust.
