Hay man,

A 400w psu would be more than enough to power a laptop even with a better Grafix card. What grafix card do you want to install anyway.

Try Avast! I had the same problem once! A friend online recomended Avast. You can download it from the web or you can buy it in the shops (I think!) Or try Crap clearer.
