THIS IS A HARDWARE FAILURE!

this happened to me very recently with my geforce 7800 gt.

i'm sorry to say no drivers will help as this is a hardware problem!!!

a similar thing happened to me not long ago i upgraded from a geforce 7 to a geforce 8 and when i put the new card in and booted up the pc i could hear windows starting up but the screen was blank....

water cooling should really only really be used for overclocking or otherwise if you have money to burn.

having done a bit more research i would have to agree with jbennet on this one, those outputs seem to suggest about 300w.

you will have to upgrade your PSU.

yea the 8400 are budget cards of the geforce 8 chip anything under the 8600 GT isnt really worth considering if you want a graphics card for gaming.

the x800 was a good card a friend still has...

If you computer is running a 7600 GT it is most likely a PCI-E card and will probably be using the additional 6 pin power supply connected to the card, that will most we be required by the 8800 GT
