I have 2 p.c's running xp sp2. The first has a "SMC EZ Card" network card plus a seperate broadband connection (bt broadband) with external modem.
The second has a Realtek card, both are connected...

and i think that it was a critical update from microsoft that did it... nice to see it isn't just me, as it means i didn't break it

i did have a windows update on the 11th and i suspect that is the cause

always dial my default connection is checked, and i can connect by other means, but just not a browser

the window opens, and a box opens saying can't find connection asking if i want to retry or work offline, it just doesn't try to connect...
opera just says no network, both used to dial a connection...

no i still can't connect, with I.E or Opera... but i can with incredimail or media player... (never had any problems with incredimail myself)

I think it must be a setting or something that i am...
