I found this book extremely useful in learning and using php, mysql and apache together. it's great

hm, very true. i dont think we have to worry about that though. some people just love to teach, and just plain love to do those low paying jobs that sometimes can be very rewarding...

how is access used versus mySQL? i know access isnt much of a web database but what are its advantages/disadvantages over mysql?
