The signature links in this forum are nofollow. Take a look at one of your posts and then view the source code of that page. Search for your sig link and you will see rel=nofollow

It's a very relative question. I don't sell anything and my keywords are pretty narrow. If I had a hundred in a day I would throw a party but if I was Amazon I would be confused.

Try to concentrate on only 1 or 2 keywords for page. Incorporate them into you page title, meta tags, H1 tag (only 1) and the first hundred words of copy.

I don't think you need to resubmit your sitemap 2x/month. Once is fine. But that is not the problem. It is going to take some investigating. Good luck. Ask a lot of questions.

It seems as though most people I have spoken to, this was a pretty generous PR update. Many are happy with the results. The last one at the end of 07 was brutal to many.
