Dave, you are the king.... you were right on target... there is a little bridge pin on the back of the bare drive.... there are about 4 places it could go... according the the diagram on the...

So is that a switch on the bare drive itself???? that would be easy... I'll check it out... since I never had it in a computer I guess that may be the default setting since most of these DO get...

can you partition your hard drive even if there is already data stored, or does it need to be a clean drive first????

I have now switched to Mozilla to try that out, it seems very similar to netscape was on my mac 3 versions ago... have only had it going for a short time so too early to tell if those pesky popups...

currently I am running windows XP (home edition) and I went to the windows update site and had a horrible time trying to download the patches it said I needed...

I think my system also need the patch, but with dial up it takes forever and usually something screws it up(like last time I fell asleep) is there an easy way to get the patch without spending 2-3...
