i'm not sure what you're asking but the 15' max rez' is 1024x768 at 60Hz
and the 17' max is 1280x1024 60Hz

i should have updated this,
but the problem was solved after i removed the m-b battery and held down the power button for a few seconds, i guess after removing those devices some power was left back...

do this right click on the desktop>properties>apperance tab>advance button;
click tooltip in the drop down menu, click the bold icon to undo the bold.
