It helps, but not the answer i wanted! My tvs to old to understand s-video in any form-> no menues to switch between formats!
Looks like i will have to wait for a new tv!

Does this actually change the signal or just the connections? i got similar to that already ( my tv doenst have s-video connector) but the output is in black and white. The website doesnt seem to...

i have a 300w aopen power supply that came with my case.
My system is running 4 hdd's 3 optical devices. I have a tnt2 and a fx5200. NO problems with power supply/ rebooting etc. prob a problem...

Another thing to check is that your tv can support s-video. mine doesnt and i didnt know that till i tried to use it :o

anyone know if its possibel to get a converter from s-video to the old...

I had some major probs with the 9200se, apparently there is some incompatability issues with some chipsets. I went through 3 cards before my supplier decided i could have a diff card.

tried to select opengl last night, selected ok, and set screan size to 1024x what ever, and max colour and it accepted it, but i couldnt test it coz my isp went down so no connection to play on :cry:...

For some reason when i changed the settings to openGL in counterstrike it restarted and gave me a message to say the card didnt support it :o prob just matter of installing the openGL soft?

IT prob is, but the tnt2 has been in the system for many years, so i know it works. Prob makes no difference but it keeps my mind at rest :cheesy:

well truthfully i just dont trust the pci card yet, had a HIS9200se card and it kept playin games, only way i could use the pc was with the tnt2. Once the 5200 is workin fine ill get rid of the tnt2....

I have a tnt2 32mb agp card. works fine, but cant handle newer games.
So ive purchased a fx5200 by pny (pci card).
I want to run both cards, but i made a silly mistake when installing the new card....
